Lambert announced on the first day of CMA Fest on Thursday (June 8) that she and Bridges would be making the live debut performance of “If You Were Mine” during her set at Nissan Stadium on Friday (June 9).

“Speaking of duets, we are debuting our duet at CMA Fest at the stadium,” Lambert shared in a Twitter video, sitting beside a denim-clad Bridges. “Nashville, get ready for this guy.”

“I’m just the little sprinkles,” Bridges joked, with Lambert adding with a smile, “you’re the sprinkles and the cherry on top and the whipped cream.”

“I have been a big fan of Leon for a while because he is very authentic as an artist and I love his music,” Lambert said in a press statement, adding that the lyrics of their song reference significant places in their native Texas. “When we finished this song, we sent it to Leon in hopes that he would want to collaborate and we were so glad that he said yes. I have really enjoyed getting to know him and I’m happy to have him as a new friend.”

“I was humbled to have Miranda ask if I’d join her on this beautiful duet she wrote,” Bridges remarked. “Getting in the studio with her in Nashville to sing this song together was magic. There’s nothing better than two Texans on one mic!”

Keith Urban, Lainey Wilson, Hardy, Tanya Tucker and Cody Johnson are also playing Nissan Stadium on June 9. CMA Fest is a four-day festival that celebrates not only the genre of country music but also the fans. Eric Church, Jason Aldean, Ashley McBryde, Tim McGraw and Luke Bryan are among the many other acts performing until the festival wraps up on Sunday (June 11).
