British rapper Mike Skinner, aka The Streets, is in the process of releasing three new tunes via Twitter. Skinner has already given away a new cut entitled “I Love My Phone.” Equipped with lines such as “how would I survive without my outside line,” Skinner seems to be back to his old self—an authentic voice of British youth culture.

Mike leaked the new track on the social networking site Twitter after posting a message saying, “I am going to tweet 3 new songs this week. I can’t be bothered with all this trying to sell you music. It wastes valuable time.”

His next tweet: “I think I regret saying I’d post 3 new songs.” “Day 1 will be easy,” he added. “I’ve got one nearly done. Day 2 easy. Day 3 is looking tricky. Might have to post a totally rubbish one.”

Rumor has it these new tracks are part of Skinner’s next and final full length, entitled Computers and Blues. The rapper, who already threatened to leave the music business after his instrospective last album, Everything Is Borrowed, has said he will retire the name ‘The Streets’ after it’s release.
