Hawaiian Singer-Songwriter Not a Hit With Some Viewers of "The Voice"
Gabriel Goes, a singer-songwriter from Hawaii, did not exactly wow some social media users during his blind audition of Sublime’s “What I Got” on tonight’s episode of “The Voice” season 25.
“I’d love to watch him surf,” one user wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter. “I just don’t need to hear him sing.”
Another X user agreed: “Best thing about HawaiianKen is his shoes.”
Still, Goes made it and is joining Team Chance. One X user did praise his “good breath support” and “good vibes.”
“Gabriel Goes had me smiling with his energy behind the stand,” the user wrote. “On guitar, he kept a good pocket and spit out those lyrics like he was rapping.”
Team Legend Gets First Members
Much to viewers’ chagrin, last night’s Season 25 premiere ended before viewers could see which coach snagged OK3.
The Oklahoma City pop trio earned a coveted four-chair swivel with their sassy cover of Meghan Trainor’s “Made You Look.”
Sierra Sikes, Kenna Fields and Courtney Hooker ultimately chose coach John Legend, becoming the EGOT winner’s first contestants.
Fans Incensed at Shorter Season 25 Premiere
Fans will have to wait to see where Okie3 will land after the season 25 premiere of “The Voice” ended 30 minutes earlier than expected.

Fans Share Mixed Reaction to Contestant's Tina Turner Cover
Sadly, no chairs turned for 36-year-old Ashley Haynes after the Washington, D.C. native performed Tina Turner’s “Simply the Best.”
Some fans were stunned by the rejection. “None of them are ready for her,” one user wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“I’m SO SAD no one turned for Ashley – they thought she was a little pitchy at first (but I didn’t hear issues,)” another user wrote.
Still, another user felt that Haynes failed to live up to Turner’s star: “She was off key. She wasn’t great. If you’re going to sing Tina, you gotta nail it.”
"The Voice" Viewers Show Love for Debut Coaches Dan + Shay

Ryan Argast performed “Speechless” by debut coaches Dan + Shay for his season 25 audition on “The Voice.”
So it seems fitting that the country-pop duo were the only ones to turn their chairs for Argast, a 30-year-old business graduate from Plainfield, Illinois.
Coach Reba McEntire apologized for not swiveling her chair during the blind audition.
“You’re gonna have such a good time with these two over here,” McEntire told Argast. “They are knowledgeable, they are such great singers, songwriters.”

“Their harmony was almost like one voice,” one user wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter. “Twins moving and singing as one. So connected and joyous.”
