Team Gwen’s Tanner Massey Takes to the Stage to Perform ‘More Than Words’ by Extreme
During his performance to stay in the competition, Team Gwen’s Tanner Massey performed More Than Words by Extreme.
Although she said there were a few tuning issues, Gwen stated that Tanner is so gifted and it’s not easy to be on that stage performing at 19 years old.
Team Legend’s Azan Performs ‘No Tears Left to Cry’ by Ariana Grande
Following the news that she wasn’t selected to be in the top nine of season 24, The Voice contestant Azan took to the stage to perform Ariana Grande’s No Tears Left to Cry in order to stay on the show.
After the performance, Niall Horan stated that the song was a great choice for her. John Legend added that she has incredible charisma.
Team Reba’s Jordan Rainer Sings ‘Blame It On Your Heart’
In the last effort to stay on the show, Team Reba’s Jordan Rainer performs Blame It on Your Heart.
After her performance, Niall Horan admitted he didn’t know why Rainer was in the position of being eliminated. He also stated that the performance was amazing.
Reba declared it’s a shame if Rainer goes home and says her personality is “perfect.”

Although she wasn’t selected to continue on the show, The Voice contestant Jordan Rainer shared with her coach, Team Reba the most important thing she taught her this season.

After the first five safe contestants were announced, The Voice coach Reba McEntire took to the stage to perform a rendition of the song “Seven Minutes in Heaven.”
The song premiered earlier this fall and appears on McEntire’s acoustic album Not That Fancy. The song explores what she would do if she had only seven minutes in heaven to spend with her mother, Jacqueline McEntire, who passed away from cancer in 2020.

The Voice fans are predicting that Huntley of Team Niall is going to be the winner of season 24 following his first live show performance. He sang The Beatles hit track With a Little Help from My Friends.
“Calling it now Huntley will WIN!” one fan declared on X (formerly Twitter). “WOW HE CAN SING! HIS VOCAL RANGE IS TRULY INSANE LIKE NO OTHER!”
A fellow fan agreed with the stance by posting, “Huntley is the only person that should win this season, it’s insane!”

Just before the second live show kicked off, Gwen Stefani performed her 2023 single True Babe.

As The Voice season 24 enters the live show performances, fans took to Reddit to share their thoughts on who the final three contestants of the season will be.
In the thread, fans selected Ruby Leigh, Huntely, and Nini Iris to be the season’s final three. Leigh is from Team Reba and Huntley as well as Iris are on Team Niall.
“Huntley was a given,” one Reddit user stated. “Nini is consistent, has star power, and amazing vocals. Commanding. Likeable.”
Although they thought Team Legend had some talent this season, this Reddit user wrote it all comes down to Iris, Leigh, and Huntley. “I think if you put any of them up against Nini, Ruby, or Huntley, I just don’t think they have much of a chance.”

Just after the first live shows of The Voice season 24 ended, fans were quick to criticize Gwen Stefani for “favoritism” after Tanner Massey sang “off-key.”
After Tanner’s performance of Fall Out Boy’s Thnks fr th Mmrs, fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts. “Gwen isn’t looking past this kid’s appearance to hear him singing a boring song off-key,” one fan wrote.

Following BIAS’ performance during the live show on Monday (Dec. 5), Reba McEntire became pretty jealous of fellow The Voice coach, Gwen Stefani.
BIAS performed Johnny Cash’s hit track God’s Gonna Cut You Down during the live show. McEntire admitted she had some regrets about not having him on her team. “That’s the reason why I wanted you on my team,” she declared. “My gosh, you’re good. Way to go, that’s a wonderful performance.”
Stefani then told BIAS it’s like a “dream” that he’s on her team. “You just keep being you. You are the purest person I’ve ever met.”

Jacquie Roara Says ‘The Voice’ Is Intense and She Loves It
Just before she took to the stage to perform during the first live shows of The Voice season 24, Jacquie Roar spoke about what it’s like to be on the hit TV competition.
“It’s been a long time coming,” Roar stated to Oregon Live about the live show preparations. “The schedule’s crazy, with all the rehearsals and the wardrobe fittings. It’s all intense, and I love it.”
The Team Reba contestant was the first one on stage for the evening and performed Wildflowers and Wild Horses by Lainey Wilson.

Prior to the first live show of The Voice season 24, Reba McEntire spoke about the departure of Tom Nitti. He had left the show due to personal reasons last week.
“We’ve been emailing back and forth,” McEntire told ET’s Cassie DiLaura. “And all of our hearts went out to him ‘cause he couldn’t finish the competition.”
Reba noted that Nitti is so strong and good. “He’s gonna be watching and cheering all of us on, but our hearts are with him.”

Ruby Leigh Brought ‘The Voice’ Coaches to Tears During Her Rendition of Reba McEntire’s ‘You Lie’
Team Reba contestant Ruby Leigh brought all The Voice coaches to tears during her rendition of McEntire’s ‘90s hit track, You Lie, during the first night of live shows (Dec. 4).
As the coaches gave their thoughts on the performance, McEntire stated that the contestant blew the competition out of the water. “Gwen and I are bawling!” she declared. Horan chimed in and said that he enjoys Leigh performing the song her way. “There hasn’t been a time that you performed on this show that I haven’t gotten goosebumps,” Horan noted. “You are insane!”

Team Niall’s Mara Justine Wraps Up the Team’s Final Performance of the Night
Meanwhile, Team Niall’s Mara Justine is the team’s last performer of the evening. She performed her rendition of Lose Control.
Legend told The Voice host Carson Daly that it was going to be “impossible” for voters to send home a total of three contestants on Tuesday, Dec. 5. Niall shared with Justine that the performance was the best version she did all week. He also told her it was “by far” her best performance.
Team Reba Completes Night One of ‘The Voice’ Live Show With Jordan Rainer’s Performance of ‘Stranger in My House’
Team Reba is the first team to finish night one of The Voice season 24 live shows. The final teammate, Jordan Rainer, performed Stanger in My House.
Although Rainer wanted to play instruments during the performance, McEntire had advised her that it was a “bit distracting”
Fellow coach Niall stated that Rainer has a “gravitational pull” as a performer. He also stated that she was “so cool” to watch. McEntire described Rainer as a star who “demands attention” while on stage.
Team Legend’s Azán Sings ‘Ex-Factor’ For the First Time Ever on 'The Voice' Stage
Prior to taking The Voice stage by force for her rendition of Ex-Factor, Azán, as well as John Legend and advisor Chance the Rapper had to get special clearance from Lauryn Hill to perform the song, as it was the first time it was sung on the show’s stage.
After the performance, Gwen Stefani stated that she appreciated how the trio reworked the song to become something new, as it allowed her to “let go” of her obsession with the original. Legend praised Azán’s “passion and emotion” while performing the song.

Team Niall’s Hurtley Sang ‘With a Little Help From My Friends’ During the First Night of ‘The Voice’ Live Shows
Team Niall’s next performer, Huntley, took to The Voice stage and performed “With a Little Help From My Friends.” He stated that the performance was dedicated to his mother.
Happy for his team member, Niall stated that the performance was in a “different league” compared to Huntley’s rehearsal. The former One Direction bandmate declared to the audience that Huntley deserved to be around until the end of Season 24.

Team Reba’s Ruby Leigh Performs Her Rendition of ‘You Lie’ During ‘The Voice’ Season 24’s First Live Show
Younger contestant Ruby Leigh of Team Reba took to The Voice stage next, with her own rendition of McEntire’s hit track You Lie.
Following the performance, Niall Horan had nothing but praise for Leigh and stated she gave him goosebumps. He also said he appreciates how she performs songs on the stage in her own special way.
McEntire, who was teary-eyed, declared that Leigh had blown the performance out of the water.
Team Legend’s Lila Forde Steps Onto ‘The Voice’ Stage to Perform ‘Closer to Fine’ by Indigo Girls
Up next, Team Legend’s Lila Forde performed Closer to Fine by the Indigo Girls. She played the piano during the performance.
The Voice fans immediately couldn’t help but be drawn to Forde’s musical abilities. “Lila Forde on The Voice is one of the most authentic artists I have seen on shows like The Voice and American Idol,” one fan shared on X. “She isn’t doing vocal gymnastics karaoke. The last 3rd of the song was a little strain. It was Ok.”

While speaking to Extra, Niall Horan stated that former The Voice coach Blake Shelton is a “wind-up” over text.

As she continued chatting with Extra’s Megan Ryte, Stefani stated that it’s been really fun working with Horan, who is the reigning champion. “He’s really good on the show,” she said. “He knows his art. He knows his music. I just really think he’s a cool artist.”
However, she does admit it’s frustrating to work with him due to his One Direction stardom. “Because he’s like every girl that comes through is, they’d die for him. It’s not even a fair race at this point. It’s because of One Direction back in the day. [The contestants] grew up on that.”

As she prepared for The Voice season 24 live shows, Gwen Stefani shared her thoughts about collaborating with new coach Reba McEntire sometime soon.
“I got to sing with her so far,” Stefani told Extra’s Megan Ryte about McEntire. “‘Cuz I got to sing with her on the coach’s performance. And we just shot our Christmas thing together, which was just so cute because you get to do it over and over again. You get to hear her do like all her little nuances and like little runs. You just go, ‘Ok you’re a legend.’”
Stefani then said she’s “down” when it comes to working with McEntire. “I would do anything… I feel like, you know what I mean, you got to live hard now.”

While speaking to Extra’s Megan Ryte, Stefani couldn’t help but gush about Reba McEntire, who is in her first coaching season on The Voice.
“She’s just one of those rare artists that has been having this super long career,” she explained. “It just keeps – it’s not even a reinvention. She just keeps being her and her and her and her. And when you see her for the first time, even if I didn’t grow up on country [music], she’s that iconic. Even I am like, ‘Oh my gosh I feel I’m looking at a poster that’s standing next to me.’”
Stefani also said that McEntire is so recognizable. “Her personality, not to talk behind her back, but is she’s so humble. Her professionalism and everything about her is not what you would expect.”
