Wilson and Lambert debuted “Good Horses” last year during Lambert’s Velvet Rodeo Las Vegas residency. Then, the duo came together at the Bridgestone Arena to perform it again to kick off the U.S. leg of Wilson’s Country’s Cool Again Tour. Clips from both performances floated around the internet, igniting excitement in both artists’ fanbases. After months of waiting the song is finally available to stream everywhere.

Lainey Wilson and Miranda Lambert on Writing “Good Horses”
Last year, Lainey Wilson traveled to Miranda Lambert’s farm for an impromptu writers’ retreat. While there, she co-penned “Good Horses” with Lambert and Luke Dick. Both artists spoke about the song in a joint press statement.
“I am so excited for everyone to finally be able to have their hands on this song. Writing with Miranda and Luke feels like home, and I will forever cherish the day we wrote this song,” Wilson shared. “‘Good Horses’ is all about finding your way back home, no matter where you are.”
“’Good Horses’ is about all the people that love the comfort of home, but also need to be free,” Lambert added. “Lainey and I wrote this song at my farm with Luke Dick. Lainey is a genuine and authentic human. I love watching her dreams come true right in front of our eyes, and it’s so cool to be a little part of it.”
