One808 CEO Shares Statement About Loggins’ Award

Kirsten Cavendish Weston-Smith, co-founder and CEO of the One808 organization, issued a statement about Loggins receiving the “Heart of the Community Award.”

“In recognition of his extraordinary and constant philanthropic work in Santa Barbara County, One805 has chosen to honor Kenny Loggins,” Weston-Smith said. “He will receive the award on-stage at the concert.”

The honor previously was presented to Costner and Parsons, who’s a founding member of the One805 board.

More About the Concert and One808

All proceeds raised by the concert will benefit One805. The organization apportions the money to Santa Barbara County First Responders Funds. The money, in turn, goes toward emergency life-saving equipment, disaster preparedness for first responders, and mental wellness services for Santa Barbara County fire departments.

Tickets for the show are available for purchase now. Visit One808.org for more information.

One808 was founded after devastating mudslides hit the Santa Barbara County community of Montecito, claiming the lives of 23 people and destroying hundreds of homes. The organization was created to help and support all of the area’s first responders.
