CNN put on it’s The Fourth in America celebration program yesterday, July 4th, which included spectacular fireworks coast-to-coast and performances by a star-studded lineup of artists. Keith Urban played his new single, “Straight Line” during his set. Taking the stage in a casual Buc-ee’s t-shirt, Urban encouraged the crowd and showcased his guitar prowess. The audience lit up for him, singing along and jumping up and down. At the same time, the CNN broadcast showed fireworks going off in Philly, adding to the celebratory atmosphere that Urban often curates with his music.

Kesha also took the stage earlier in the day and performed her mega-hit “Tik Tok.” In a red latex outfit she did a little dance on the stage while using a bit of autotune on her vocals to get the authentic “Tik Tok” sound. In other Kesha news, she recently released a new single, “Joyride,” her first since gaining freedom from Kemosabe Records and Dr. Luke in December. It’s reminiscent of her 2010s sound but with lyrics alluding to her new-found freedom to do what she wants.
