Kacey Musgraves Wax Figure on Display at Madame Tussauds

Kacey Musgraves is the latest artist to be enshrined in wax. The country superstar is the newest act to have a wax figure of her likeness on display at Madame Tussauds Nashville. The figure dons the white lace jumpsuit Musgraves wore during her electrifying set at the 2019 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo in her native Texas where she performed several songs off her Grammy-winning album, Golden Hour, along with a cover of Selena‘s “Como La Flor.” The wax figure also incorporates subtle details like Musgraves’ nose ring, gold rings and hoop earrings she wore the night of the show.

The experience is elevated by the fact that fans can sing along with the wax figure to songs from her four studio albums, Same Trailer Different Park, Pageant Material, Golden Hour and Star-Crossed. The figure was made by 20 artists in London who worked with the singer to ensure the figure was as close to her likeness as possible.

“What an honor, I never even knew I wanted this to be a bucket list moment. You all did an amazing job,” Musgraves said at a recent press event where the wax figure was unveiled.

“As a country music icon, there is no better artist we’d like to welcome to the Madame Tussauds Nashville family than Kacey Musgraves,” Marketing Manager for Madame Tussauds Monica Jackson said in a press statement. “She is one of country music’s most beloved stars and we’re honored for guests to welcome and sing with her at our attraction.”

The wax figure reveal comes hot on the heels of Musgraves scoring her first No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 as a featured artist on Zach Bryan‘s “I Remember Everything.” Released as the lead single off Bryan’s self-titled 2023 album, the song also hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. The album debuted at No. 1 on the all-genre Billboard 200 in August 2023.
