Justin Townes Earle Announces New Album Absent Fathers

Justin Townes Earle
Even though he just released an album last month – which we loved – Justin Townes Earle is coming back with more. Absent Fathers, the second half to his September release Single Mothers, will drop January 15.  The album was recorded in the same sessions as Single Mothers, and Earle intended to release them together as a double album, but felt that each record took on its own identity and needed to be released independently.

Earle will hit the road this fall in support of the two records. The tour kicks off November 7 in Louisville, KY. In the meantime, check out Earle’s cover of Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams,” which he recorded while touring in Australia earlier this year.
