SZA released her brand new music video for “Snooze,” the eighth song on the 23-song track list for her December 2022 sophomore album, SOS. As the sixth song on the album to be given the visual treatment, the video includes multiple fascinating cameos from Justin Bieber, famed pop instrumentalist Benny Blanco (who produced SOS songs like “Nobody Gets Me” and “Special”), and actors Woody McClain and Young Mazino.

Sharing intimate moments throughout the 4-minute and 40 second video with all of the aforementioned men, as well as a creepy looking robot, SZA demonstrates how the strong emotions she croons about on “Snooze” can sometimes be fleeting and non-exclusive.
I can’t lose when I’m with you
How can I snooze and miss the moment?
You just too important
Nobody do body like you do
Additionally, after the “Snooze” audio finishes, the video then transitions to SZA frolicking with her partner through a grass field, as a charming unreleased track plays in the background. With lyrics like I need you poolside, you’ve been on my mind, the piano-backed ballad delivers even stronger lovestruck themes than “Snooze,” once again proving SZA’s mastery of romantic songwriting.

SZA is expected to release a 10-song deluxe of SOS in the near future but did not elaborate on when fans can expect it to arrive, according to Variety. In a separate conversation with iHeartRadio’s #MostRequestedLive host Tim “Romeo” Herbster in January SZA said, “There are still songs that didn’t make the album that I wanted to make the album, but that’s what deluxe and things are for,” she told Herbster. “Sometimes it’s 10 songs that didn’t make the cut, so we’ll see. I’m going to throw them all out there because… No one can say I didn’t give the music. So when I disappear for another five years, there will be more. There will be more to speak for me.”
