Actor Johnny Depp has hooked up with Aerosmith frontman and American Idol judge Steven Tyler, in an effort to write new songs. Depp, who was a musician before he was an actor, and has jammed with Keith Richards and performed in the band P, tells Extra: “We’ve been hanging out here and there. He’s someone I’ve admired greatly for such a long time. The idea of writing songs with him is a dream come true.”
Depp also said that he would consider playing Tyler in a biopic, although we always pictured him portraying the role of Eddie Vedder in the inevitable Pearl Jam movie.
Tyler’s new single from his upcoming solo album, “(It) Feels So Good,” dropped yesterday.
