America will find out when Jewel joins the new cast of ABC’s hit show Dancing With the Stars, which debuts on March 9th. Jewel will join troubled rapper Lil Kim, Go-Go’s lead singer Belinda Carlisle, and country musician Chuck Wicks. She’ll also be competeing against her husband, rodeo star Ty Murray, as well as actor David Alan Grier, Steve-O from Jackass, and football great Lawrence Taylor.

The 34-year-old Alaksan musician, who’s last album, Perfectly Clear, debuted at no. 1 on the country music chart, is also prepping an album of self-penned children’s lullabies, due out later this year.
