Jelly Roll is one of the biggest names in country music today. Since releasing his debut country album last year, he has found chart success, taken home a shelf full of awards, and received multiple Grammy nominations. However, he doesn’t seem to be letting the success go to his head. Instead, he’s using his new platform to spread positivity to those who need it the most. For instance, he’s been visiting inmates in jails across the country on his Beautifully Broken Tour. He continued that trend last week while in Indiana.

Jelly Roll visited adult and juvenile inmates ahead of his show at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana last week. He and ERNEST, one of the supporting acts on his tour visited IDOC Pendleton Juvenile Correctional Facility and IDOC Pendleton Correctional Facility in Pendleton, Indiana.
The Indiana Department of Correction posted about the visit on its Facebook page. “Jelly Roll alongside ERNEST visited IDOC Pendleton Juvenile Correctional Facility and IDOC Pendleton Correctional Facility today, ahead of his show at Gainbridge Fieldhouse,” the post read. “He shared his powerful story of resilience, offering words of encouragement and hope. His message continues to inspire, showing that no matter the past, the future is full of possibilities,” the IDOC added. “A big thank you to Jelly Roll for taking the time to connect with our communities, and to the staff who made this visit possible.”
Jelly Roll Plans to Get Some Rest in 2025
Jelly Roll has been on the road almost constantly for the last few years. Even before he was a country star, he was on the road performing for crowds of diehard fans across the United States. Over the last couple of years, his tours—and the venues in which he performs—have gotten bigger. The Beautifully Broken Tour is the biggest trek he has ever embarked on and he’s making the most of it. However, he won’t be on the road next year.
Last week, Jelly Roll appeared on The Pat McAfee Show to talk about his career and more. During the conversation, he shared his touring plans—or lack thereof—for 2025. “This is breaking news for Jelly Roll. I’m not gonna headline a tour in America next year. It will be my first year not headlining a tour since 2020,” he revealed. “Before that, it was like 2012. It’s been a long time and I think we’ve done enough this year,” he added.
This doesn’t mean he won’t be performing at all in 2025. “I’m gonna do all those festivals next year and I think I’m gonna get into a little television,” he said. He couldn’t share any details about his future TV appearances but promised he’d tell everyone as soon as he was able.
