The founding members of ’90s alt-country band the Jayhawks are set to tour again. Gary Louris and Mark Olson are hitting the road in January to support the reissues of their classic albums Hollywood Town Hall and Tomorrow The Green Grass, which fans may be able to see played in their complete forms.

“I’m mulling it over,” Louris told Rolling Stone. “It’s been suggested that if we do two nights in a place to do one the first night and the other the second. We haven’t agreed to it yet.” The band will also have some new material to road test, having recorded a new album last month.

“Our goal is to make the best Jayhawks album that’s ever been done,” Louris said. “Mark and I both feel that there is some business left undone and we got together and wrote some great songs.”

The re-released albums are out January 18 on American/Legacy and will include previously unreleased bonus tracks. Tomorrow The Green Grass: Legacy Edition comes with an extra disc of demo tracks.
