Despite the fact that he and Taylor Swift are no longer an item, Jake Gyllenhaal just can’t quit Nashville.

The Prince of Persia star flew into town on Saturday to catch a secret show by two of our favorite bands, Mumford & Sons and The Apache Relay. As the hour grew late, Gyllenhaal, who was accompanied by British actress and Brothers co-star Carey Mulligan, broke out an acoustic guitar and jammed out to “Amazing Grace” and Old Crow Medicine Show’s “Wagon Wheel.” (That’s Gwyneth’s department!)

Also in on the fun: members of Old Crow, and singer-songwriter Mat Kearney.

Check out photos of the packed gig, which was barely contained in the basement of Apache Relay guitarist Mike Harris’s house, at Metromix.com.
