The Bangles, Indigo Girls, Rodney Crowell, Sam Bush, Fastball, and Matthew Sweet will co-headline the third annual 30A Songwriters Festival. Running January 13-15, The 30A Songwriters Festival will feature some 125 artists performing in 20 venues in the beach communities of South Walton, Florida, which is located off Scenic Highway 30A. Participating venues will range from large amphitheatres to cozy listening rooms.

“It’s a series of magical moments unfolding over the course of the long weekend,” notes Bangles singer Susanna Hoffs, “with old friends reuniting, new friendships being born…Large audiences and performers enjoying days and nights of music, storytelling both poignant and humorous, spontaneous jams, Southern hospitality, delicious food and wine.” Hopefully Hoffs will be jamming with her frequent duet partner and co-headliner Matthew Sweet.

Other artists on the bill include Angel Snow, Joseph Arthur, Over The Rhine, Shawn Mullins, David Wilcox, Steve Forbert, Mary Gauthier, Randall Bramblett, Jeffrey Steele, Chely Wright, Corey Smith, David Olney, Lori McKenna, Tommy Womack, Joseph Arthur, Matthew Mayfield, David Berkeley, Garrison Starr, and Daphne Willis.

“The relaxed, laid back vibe of the beachside resorts along scenic Highway 30A creates the perfect atmosphere for this world-class event,” says event organizer Jennifer Steele. “South Walton already celebrates a thriving arts community, which includes a vibrant music scene and an abundance of talented musicians. We are delighted to bring such high-caliber songwriters, performers and up-and-coming artists from around the country to 30A to play for music savvy audiences.”

Proceeds from the 30A Songwriters Festival benefit the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County. Early Bird tickets are currently set at $100 for a three-day pass. For more information and a full list of artists, venues, accommodations packages and more, visit 30asongwritersfestival.com.
