The third annual Indie Entertainment Summit kicks off this Wednesday in Los Angeles. A four-day event comprised of seminars, workshops and nightly performances, the summit caters to independent performers and industry professionals looking to learn more about the always-evolving entertainment landscape.

Founded in 2012, the Indie Entertainment Summit is the brainchild of entertainment industry veterans “dedicated to providing opportunities for talent & business to thrive in the ever-changing world of entertainment.” Since its inception, the summit has grown in both size and prestige, attracting attendees from across the globe.

The summit’s keynote speakers are Ted Cohen, managing partner of TAG Strategic, and Steve Lobel, a manager and entrepreneur best known for his work with A-2-Z Entertainment. Other speakers, serving on over 80 panels throughout the summit, include Matchbox 20 guitarist Adam Gaynor, CD Baby president Brian Felson and hip-hop artist Bun B. Performing artists include Emelyn, All Night Pressure and Magnuson.

A special award will be presented to late hip-hop legend Tupac as part of the summit’s Hip-Hop Honors. On the other end of the musical spectrum, Grammy-winning songwriting heavyweight Diane Warren (perhaps best known for penning Aerosmith’s Armageddon mega-ballad “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing”) will also be honored.

The summit will be held at several venues in North Hollywood. For ticketing information and a full schedule, visit http://www.indieentertainmentsummit.com.
