1. Luke Combs

Odds are, most through and through country boys will have all the components to pull off a convincing Luke Combs already at their disposal. Throw on your best Columbia fishing shirt, blue jeans, a ball cap, and boots, and you’re halfway there. You’d get extra points for toting around a guitar and a red solo cup, but we think the outfit could stand on its own—especially if you’re partying with fellow country fanatics.

You may not win any awards for the most elaborate costume, but you’ll be the most comfortable person at the party, guaranteed.

2. Taylor Swift

This costume will be particularly easy for those who attended the Eras Tour this year. Just dust off your sparkles and boots and hit the town. Those who haven’t already fleshed out a Swiftian costume could easily drum one up with their wardrobe.

You have many eras to choose from for your costume. If you lean towards Western gear, try being debut album Swift. If all black is your thing, enter your Reputation era. If you’re into the glitzier side of fashion, 1989 is your bread and butter. Because her style has varied so much over the years, almost anyone can find a way to make a Swift costume work for them.

3. Britney Spears

Britney Spears has once again entered the public consciousness thanks to her new memoir, The Woman in Me. Because of her recent uptick in attention, you might consider dressing like the pop princess this spooky season.

There are endless Spears costumes available online. The “Oops!…I Did It Again” singer has been a Halloween staple since the ’90s. If you don’t want to go the ready-made route, you can throw on any skirt, a button-up shirt, tie your hair up in braided pigtails, and strut your stuff as Spears in her “..Baby One More Time” music video. Even simpler, any baggy pants and tank top paired with a headset microphone would probably get the job done.

4. Morgan Wallen

Luckily for Morgan Wallen fans, the country singer is offering a costume as part of his official merch. The bundle includes a sleeveless plaid shirt with a “Wallen” name tag, a ball cap, and a Tennessee-shaped necklace.

If you need your Wallen costume pronto, throw on any plaid shirt, cowboy boots, a backwards hat, and figure out a way to give yourself a mustache if you don’t have one already (a must) and tout yourself as the “You Proof” singer. Bonus points if you’re willing to go the extra mile and shave your head.

5. Lainey Wilson

Lainey Wilson has undoubtedly been the breakout country star of the year. Her rise in popularity has been staggering. If you want to capitalize on Wilson’s fame this Halloween, you’re in luck, her silhouette is incredibly distinct.

While we all might not be able to boast the exact same silhouette as Wilson–envious as we may be–we can don her bell-bottom pants and feather-adorned hat to give off the allusion. If you don’t already have a ’70s-tinged wardrobe this may be a little harder to pull off, but not impossible.
