As much as a band entrenched in no-wave dance rock can be, HEALTH are poised for a breakthrough with Get Color. An assault of defragged guitars, pouncing tribal drums, endlessly tweaked synths and cavernous chants, HEALTH have concocted one moody, belligerent mind-melter of an album. Pilfering equally from Black Dice’s frenetic electro-noise and the west coast Smell scene they helped propel, Get Color is one primal adrenaline rush that cannot be ignored.
