Green Day, the world’s most massive punk band, aren’t short on hits. From Dookie to American Idiot, they’ve got more than enough material to entertain even the most casual fan in a live setting. But that doesn’t prevent them from giving equal time to other artists’ music as well.
At their show last night at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Irvine, California, Green Day broke out dookie-fied versions of songs by The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Tom Petty, The Isley Brothers, Guns & Roses, The Who, Black Sabbath, Billy Idol, The Doors, Van Halen and AC/DC.
