Over the course of three months, Fall Out Boy will visit 29 cities and a series of arenas and amphitheaters, including a pair of historic venues, Boston’s Fenway Park and Chicago’s Wrigley Field. Along the way, they’ll perform around North America in Dallas, Texas; Cincinnati, Ohio; Atlanta, Georgia; Toronto, Canada; and other major cities.
The tour kicks off on June 21 in Chicago and concludes on August 6 in Camden, New Jersey. Bring Me the Horizon and Royal & the Serpent will join as direct support. New Found Glory, Alkaline Trio, Four Year Strong, and The Academy Is… will open on select dates. FOB will also bring some of the artists from frontman Patrick Stump and guitarist Pete Wentz’s indie record label, DCD2 Records, as surprise guests.
“WAKE UP, we’re going on tour,” FOB announces on Instagram alongside a humorous video that shows Wentz walking on the beach in the rain wearing a winter coat before being transported to real-time in the studio with Stump via conch shell. “We can’t wait to kick things off at Wrigley, go BIG aaaand go HOME!!”
The band also says they’ll announce information about international dates soon. Tickets go on sale to the public on Friday (Feb. 3) at 10 a.m. local time. See the full list of dates below.
The tour is in support of their highly-anticipated new album, So Much (For) Stardust, which will be released on March 24. This marks their first album since Mania in 2018, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
“We wanted to get back to the way we used to work,” Stump said of Stardust in a press release. “We wanted to make a record that was really lovingly crafted and deliberate and patiently guided–like someone cooked you a delicate meal. I’m not a very proud guy, but I’m pretty proud of this record.”
The band introduced the project with lead single, “Love From the Other Side.”
