The new festival will be held in the birthplace of the Lone Star State—Gonzalez, Texas. Eric Church headlines alongside some of the biggest acts to come out of the state in recent years. The three-day event kicks off on April 12 and wraps up on April 14. Church, Whiskey Myers, and Koe Wetzel will headline the event.
The Cattle Country Festival will take over a 400-acre ranch dubbed The Boot for its boot-shaped landscape. The event will also offer more than music. Attendees will also have the opportunity to take part in wine and spirit tasting. Additionally, the festival will offer “elevated culinary experiences” according to a press release. If it gets too hot under the Texas sun, the setting also offers swimming holes to cool off between sets.
For those who want to take a moment to relax, there’s the Come and Take It Lounge. It is “an upscale oasis where guests can sample some of the best wines from Texas and across the world, bespoke culinary offerings curated by an assortment of Texas chefs, craft cocktails, and more,” according to a press release. It will also feature yard games, sports on big-screen TVs, and views of the Guadalupe River.
Cattle Country organizers threw a wide net when putting together the festival lineup. The featured artists represent mainstream country, Red Dirt, Americana, soul, rock, and other related genres.
One-day general admission tickets start at $125. Multi-night and VIP packages are available as well. The festival’s official website has tickets, passes, and more details.
