With countless musicians paying tribute to David Bowie after the news of his passing on Sunday, EL VY used The Late Show stage to remember the iconic artist by covering one of his most well known songs.

EL VY—which is comprised of The National frontman Matt Berninger and Brent Knopf of Menomena—performed a passionate cover of Bowie’s “Let’s Dance” to close out Colbert’s Monday night show. The performance was filled with plenty of dancing, funky trumpet hooks and an eye-catching tambourine breakdown.

The cover came after the group performed “Return To The Moon,” the title track off their latest album.
