Dwight Yoakam Announces New Album

Country star Dwight Yoakam announced his newest album, Second Hand Heart, set for an April 14 release. The album marks the multiple Grammy award-winning singer’s return to the Warner family.

Yoakam self-produced Second Hand Heart, which was mixed by renowned engineer Chris Lord-Alge, who also co-produced three tracks with Yoakam (“She,” “Believe,” and “The Big Time.”) The album features two covers, Anthony Crawford’s “V’s of Birds” and the traditional “Man of Constant Sorrow.” Yoakam wrote the other eight songs on his own.

Yoakam is scheduled to perform at the 57th Annual Grammy awards this Sunday, February 8 with Best New Artist nominee Brandy Clark.
