If you can’t be what you want, you learn to be the things your not, if you can’t get what you need, you learn to need the things that stop your dreaming” – Passenger. This lyric made me promise myself to never stop fighting to make my dreams a reality.

“Keep your head up, keep your heart strong”- Ben Howard. I think I say this more to people than any other song lyric.

“L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N” – Noah and the whale. Another one of those lyrics that can keep you hopeful.

I WROTE THIS SONG: Boats

I wrote ‘Boats’ about love from a man who doesn’t offer outward appeal, but promises inward dedication, loyalty, and hard work for the one he loves.

I’ve got boats

I’ve got a whole fleet

And I’ve got the finest ships that sail in these seven seas

And we fish for fish

And we’ve caught liars

But we threw them back, ’cause we aim for something so much higher

Oh oh oh

How the waves got to me

Well you snuck inside

You got me revived

And I asked you not to leave

Oh oh oh

My sea strong girl

I need someone to be my eyes

I need someone who can compromise

I need someone to be my life

Won’t you be my world?

I can cook

But I can’t read

And I’ve got more books on these ruddy shelves than I’ve got time you see

But I will work

I will work for you

And I’ll give you everything I have

and I promise to be true

Repeat chorus

I’ve got boats

I’ve got a whole fleet

And I know for certain you’re the only person that I want next to me

And we fish for fish

And we fish for free

And I’m just glad that you’re right here to keep me company

Repeat Chorus

Won’t you be my world?

I said, won’t you be my world

won’t you be my world

won’t you be my world

I said, won’t you be my world
