I WROTE THIS SONG:  I wrote this song in an attempt to escape some anxiety I was experiencing. I was feeling small and alone and unworthy. I started fantasizing about ascending through the clouds and leaving the weight of the world behind. It wasn’t a suicidal thought, but more of a self caring. I was feeling overwhelmed and the thought of God leading me hand in hand toward heaven was comforting. As morbid as that sounds, nothing calms me more than singing the lines of this chorus. I feel light enough that light itself could carry me onward. Just flying towards heaven on the wings of morning light.
