AMBITIONS: To make great music, bring joy and enjoy this journey. The goal is to be happy , do the work, and be fulfilled with the work.

TURN-OFFS: Rudeness, selfishness, strong perfume, hatred.

TURN-ONS: Humor, great food, nature, dark chocolate, single malt scotch, great music at small outdoor music festivals.

DREAM GIG: Opening for Robert Plant at the Capitol Theatre

FAVORITE LYRIC: John Lennon, “Imagine all the people sharing all the world.”

SONG I WISH I WROTE: “Strawberry Fields Forever”

5 PEOPLE I’D MOST LIKE TO HAVE DINNER WITH: President Obama and Michelle Obama, Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Pablo Picasso.

MY FAVORITE CONCERT EXPERIENCE: Miles Davis and BB King at the Beacon Theatre in the mid 80s when I was in high school.

I WROTE THIS SONG: “Say You’ll Live” after experiencing some personal loss and near losses of friends and family. The driving rhythm, soaring chorus and down in the dirt verse vocal came out of these emotions.
