AMBITIONS: To have a 60 year music career! I want to write, record, and perform songs until the day I die. Songwriting can only get better with age. I can’t wait to see how my writing will develop as I get more experience under my belt.
TURN-OFFS: cheesy facebook status updates! Example (I call this the equation): ” sunshine + boyfriend+ ……. = bliss) eww
TURN-ONS: Goofy people and Seinfeld fans! When people do “voices”. I love to do voices.
FAVORITE LYRIC: ” She’s a tear that hangs inside my soul forever” – Jeff Buckley
CRAZIEST PERSON I KNOW: Roland
SONG I WISH I WROTE: Hallelujah. Jeff Buckley’s version of this haunts me. When Jeff sing’s this song I want to feel sad in a good way.
5 PEOPLE I’D MOST LIKE TO HAVE DINNER WITH: Kramer, Brad Pitt (LOL), C.S. Lewis, Morgan Freeman, Tom Hanks
MY FAVORITE CONCERT EXPERIENCE: I must say, Coldplay puts on a heck of a show!!! Quite magical .
I WROTE THIS SONG: I wrote “Chance in Barcelona” after traveling to Spain and meeting a wonderful woman. It was by complete chance that I met someone that changed so much about me and my life. It was the difference of taking a left or right turn in the street that led me to meet her. I think about the idea of chance daily and how the most minor decisions can have the most impact on our lives. So much in life is left to chance and though one obviously can’t control it, one can let chance happen by living and exposing oneself to as many people and places as possible.
