The 2023 edition of the SmithField and Friends Christmas Show will feature a setlist of Christmas standards and originals, along with a number of special guests. This year, their holiday show welcomes Adam Hambrick, Stephanie Quayle, Frank Ray, Harper Grace, Tiera Kennedy, and Riley Roth.
“So excited to host ya’ll in Nashville,” wrote the duo in an Instagram post for the upcoming holiday concert. “We don’t want you to miss our favorite show of the year.”
Tickets for the annual concert go on sale on Friday (November 10) and proceeds from the show will benefit the Nashville Rescue Mission and its their Christmas wish list for kids. Nashville Rescue Mission helps ensure that homeless mothers with children have a place to go during the holidays.
Friends from childhood, SmithField’s Trey Smith and Jennifer Fielder also found deeper familial connections going back generations in their hometown of Waxahachie, Texas.
Formed in 2011, SmithField released their self-titled debut in 2015 followed by their 2021 EP New Town. The duo has also shared the stage with everyone from Morgan Wallen, Old Dominion, Brothers Osborne, Kane Brown, Scotty McCreery, Diamond Rio, Josh Turner, Trace Adkins, Dustin Lynch, Joe Nichols, and Gary Allan.
“We grew up in the same part of Texas, but we come from different sides of music,” said Smith of the duo’s electric country, rock, and pop roots. “That mixture is what makes it so unique. Even though we’re not related by blood, our musical bond stems from this longtime friendship. It’s created a bond that you can’t manufacture.”
In 2023, Smithfield also released a series of singles, including “Hope You’re Happy,” “Upstairs,” “Reason for Rita,” and “Wish You the Best.”
