Well, folks, the time has come. Season 26 of The Voice is nearly ready to crown a victor of this year’s highly competitive and fierce season. The final result will come as a great surprise to many and it has been nearly four months in the making. However, before a champion is chosen, The Voice has a diverse and expansive line-up aiming to take some of the heat off of this year’s contestants.

On Monday, December 9, night one of The Voice season finale started at 8 pm EST on NBC. Regarding the line-up of entertainers, night one of the season finale included The Voice’s season 24 winner, Huntley. Furthermore, season 26 coach, Snoop Dogg also took the stage with his long-time friend Martha Stewart. Lastly, Michael Bublé and Carly Pearce celebrated the Christmas holiday by performing their single, “Maybe This Christmas.”
“Maybe This Christmas” is Bublé and Pearce’s most recent collaboration and Christmas single to date. Regarding Bublé, the man seemingly owns the Christmas season and has become a staple of the Winter holiday. Thanks to songs such as “White Christmas” and “Santa Baby,” Bublé has become the unofficial voice of the Christmas season. Pearce on the other hand is not a decorated Christmas season veteran like her partner. Other than her collaboration with Bublé, Pearce has only released three other Christmas songs. Though, thanks to Bublé, Pearce’s performance on The Voice made her seem like a premier holiday figure.
The Voice Celebrates Christmas
Even though night one of The Voice season 26 finale had lots at stake, the producers of the show still seemingly thought Christmas had to be celebrated. And it was, in a rather grandiose fashion that is, as Michael Bublé and Carly Pearce’s performance was nothing short of a holiday treat.
Bublé sang in the capacity of a coach, whereas Pearce sang in the position of a guest playoff advisor. Although, during this short Christmas set it seems the two completely stepped out of their vocational roles and sang the song as two guest performers celebrating the holiday season.
