His crisp vocals chime through simple yet enticing tracks and an intriguing mélange of unique, funk percussion (“Fool for Love”), intricate string arrangements (“Sweet California”) and French lyrics (“Kitty Kathy, Demons”) are just a few of the album’s enjoyable elements that creates for Stills his own distinctive genre.
