Country golden boy and former American Songwriter cover star Chris Stapleton is slated to appear on an upcoming episode of Saturday Night Live. He’ll appear alongside host Adam Driver (of Girls and Star Wars fame) on January 16.
The performance follows a banner 2015 year for Stapleton, who virtually swept the CMA Awards and wowed viewers with his performance of “Tennessee Whiskey” and “Drink You Away” with Justin Timberlake. Stapleton also picked up four Grammy nominations, including nods for Album of the Year and Best Country Song.
