Okay, it’s true — all Nine Inch Nails songs kind of sound alike – warped electro-funk beat building with vocals that waver between major and minor. That is to say, they all sound like Scott’s faithful parody, which is currently blowing up on the Internet.

The Reznor homage comes a day after the Red Hot Chili Peppers fakeout “Abracadabralifornia” went viral. Written by comedian Jon Daly, “Abracadabralifornia” features realistic lines like “Bing-a-bong-a-bong-a-Burbank” and “Gle-gle-gle-gle-Glendale,” and comes with its own deceptively authentic looking website.

Maybe this will inspire Trent Reznor and Anthony Kiedis to shake things up the next time they write a song. . . but don’t count on it.
