Having spent nearly 20 years on the stage, Carly Pearce used her time to release four studio albums, with her last, Hummingbird, hitting shelves back in June. Outside of her time in the studio, Pearce also gained awards from the Country Music Association, the Academy of Country Music, and even the Grammy Awards. And with women dominating country music, Pearce isn’t alone as other female singers like Megan Moroney produce songs like “Tennessee Orange.” But recently, the two country stars didn’t talk about themselves but offered the one female singer who has the power to change country music.

Throughout the rich history of country music, the genre welcomed female stars like Reba McEntire, Dolly Parton, Loretta Lynn, and Shania Twain. But recently, names like Lainey Wilson, Pearce, and Moroney are taking over. But when discussing the future of country music, Moroney told Taste of Country Nights that Ella Langley was the one to watch out for. “I really like Ella Langley, I think she has a great voice, I think she just released that song with Riley Green, that everyone loves. Just happy for her, I’ve seen her all over TikTok.”
Carly Pearce Seeing Ella Langley All Over TikTok
A few days after speaking with Moroney, Taste of Country Nights entertained Pearce with a series of questions. When asked who she believed was going to take over the genre, she also pointed to Langley. “I think Ella Langley is next. Any time I open up my TikTok, it’s [singing] ‘Excuse me, you look like you love me,’ and I’m also gonna call it that that’s gonna be a big song for her.”
For those who might not know who Langley is, she released the viral song “You Look Like You Love Me”, which featured Riley Green. With the song taking over the charts and a favorite on TikTok, the country singer continues to expand her stardom. Big stars in country music like Morgan Wallen, Luke Bryan, Cody Johnson, Hardy, and Riley Green all prepare to share the stage with Langley.
Releasing her debut EP back in 2023, this August, Langley will step fully into country music with the drop of her full LP called Hungover.
