Videos by American Songwriter

Together with American Songwriter and Sean Ulbs of The Eiffels, we had the pleasure of interviewing VÉRITÉ over Zoom video!

A week after COVID-19 became a national emergency, VÉRITÉ decided to cancel a sold-out, headlining North American tour. Plus, at that time her own personal storms would entirely uproot and change her life.

Quarantined and on her own, she wrote “Younger Women,” the first song from her latest project New Limbs: Volume 1. An exploration not confined by traditional structures, New Limbs defines the ethos of her next musical chapter and mirrors the uncertain era we all find ourselves in.

This EP became an opportunity to experiment with new ways of working and connecting with sounds and collaborators, and fans. VÉRITÉ used the forced isolation to hone her production skills, embracing the challenge to innovate once again – something she has done in every other aspect of her career. “I’m excited to find new ways to share and connect with the people who listen to my music right now,” she says about the current challenges facing the music industry. A prolific and “spellbinding” (NPR) songwriter, executive producer and performer, her independently produced albums, EPs and singles have garnered 300M+ streams across all platforms with 1M+ monthly listeners.

Stay tuned as VÉRITÉ will be announcing a new series of initiatives to accompany the EP project
