Bob Dylan is heading to overseas, to play his only UK date so far this year. Dylan will headline the inaugural London Feis festival in Finsbury Park, London. London Feis shares the same organizers as the Fleadh festival, an event celebrating Irish culture which hit US shores in the late ’90s.

According to Feis head Vince Powers, “The inaugural London Feis will be a fantastic edition to the capital’s summer calendar. Bob Dylan for an exclusive UK performance means that the first year will be one to remember. I’ve worked with Bob many times before and am delighted to have him back once again.” Additional acts are expected to be announced soon. Tickets go on sale today.

In other news, the legendary songwriter may soon play his first-ever show in China. Dylan canceled a planned Asian tour last April when the Chinese government barred him from performing there. They’ve since relented, and he’s now scheduled to play Beijing and Shanghai in April. The events’ promoters say “These Bob Dylan concerts are destined to be one of the year’s major tours and a musical event of depth, grace and greatness.” (Billboard tackles the interesting idea of whether his lyrics will be censored or not.)

Update: Dylan’s first China show, with a government-restricted set list, has been approved.
