Ben Harper and harmonica legend Charlie Musselwhite performed an evening of blistering blues at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium on Friday, September 13, performing songs from their new album Get Up! Harper gave a shout out to local guitar maker George Gruhn, who set him up with session work before he was famous. Among the evening’s highlights were covers of Muddy Waters’ “Long Distance Call” and Led Zeppelin’s “When The Levee Breaks.”
