Pop powerhouses Bebe Rexha and David Guetta joined forces for an energizing performance at the 2023 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday night (November 19). Joined by a string section and surrounded by mysterious fog, Rexha gave a dramatic rendition of “I’m Good (Blue),” the pair’s anthemic collaboration.

After showing off her expansive vocal range, Rexha made her way to a nearby stage, surrounded by cheering fans. She then slid into “One In a Million,” her most recent joint effort with Guetta, trading her orchestra backing for pulsating pop beats. Joined by a team of backup dancers, Rexha delivered a fiery rendition of the song while flying through rapid-fire choreography.

Following the performance, Rexha gleefully accepted the Top Dance/Electronic Song award for “I’m Good (Blue).” The track has climbed to No. 1 in more than a dozen countries since its release in August 2022. Rexha says seeing the track’s impact on fans worldwide encouraged her to take new risks with her Billboard Music Awards performance.
“Just seeing the fans embrace ‘I’m Good’ in the way that they have has been such an incredible journey, and I think this is an incredible moment to do something that I’ve never done before,” Rexha told Billboard in an interview shortly before the ceremony. “It’s so different, and it’s kind of like a gift to my fans to say thank you.”
Rexha and Guetta were nominated in a total of three categories at this year’s awards. “I’m Good (Blue)” earned the two hitmakers nominations for Top Collaboration and Top Billboard Global Song. In 2019, Rexha took home her first Billboard Music Award when “Meant to Be,” her hit track with Florida Georgia Line, was named Top Country Song.
