Backstreet Boys will headline two of the four nights that will feature performances from their DNA World Tour, in addition to a “30-for-30 performance” that consists of a set of songs chosen entirely by the fans. Jason Derulo will headline one of the shows, with Eric Cubeecchee and DJ YO-C also set to perform, with additional artists to be announced at a later date.
“THERE AIN’T NO PARTY LIKE A BACKSTREET PARTY and we’re bringing the party to Cancun, Mexico from April 18-21, 2024!” the band writes on Instagram. “Cannot wait for the ultimate vacation with you guys! What are you guys looking forward to the most?” they add.
The event also presents all-day pool parties, specially curated activities by the artists and more. A presale begins on July 6 at 12 p.m. ET for members of the BSB fan club and those who’ve attended recent concerts and events. A limited number of all-inclusive event packages will go on sale to the general public on July 7 at 1 p.m. ET.
The hit 1990s boy band wrapped up the DNA World Tour on May 20. The trek started in 2019 but was delayed in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Dates were rescheduled throughout 2021, 2022 and 2023. The tour concluded in South Africa with four shows in Cape Town and Pretoria.
In honor of the 10-year anniversary of their 2013 album, In a World Like This, Backstreet Boys is releasing the 10th Anniversary Deluxe Edition on July 28 which includes five live tracks recorded on their In A World Like This Tour stops in Japan.
