Matt Friedlander has worked for decades covering popular music, including a recent 11-year stint with ABC News Radio/ABC Audio as the company's Classic Rock, Classic Hits and Oldies writer/producer. During his career, he's had the opportunity to interview many of the legendary artists who helped inspire and fuel his lifelong passion for music, including members of The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who and The Kinks, as well as John Fogerty, Neil Young, Debbie Harry, Robbie Robertson and many more. Matt also has sung and played guitar in a variety of fairly unsuccessful rock bands over the years. He currently lives in New Haven, CT, with his wife, two very large, very furry cats and an expansive CD and vinyl collection.
