Annie Reuter
Managing Editor
Annie Reuter moved to Nashville from New York in 2015 with the goal to learn how to write songs. She quickly realized the unparalleled talent in Music City and decided she’d rather be telling the stories behind the songwriters and their songs. Prior to joining the publication, she worked as a Nashville-based freelance journalist and country music contributor for Forbes and Billboard. Her byline has appeared in CMT, Country Weekly, CMA Close Up, Marie Claire, MTV and Rolling Stone. For more than 10 years, Annie has been covering the country music scene in New York and Nashville where she's interviewed the biggest names in the genre including Dolly Parton, Kenny Rogers, Willie Nelson, Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert and Luke Bryan. Over the past decade, she's traveled to Mexico, California and Nevada to report on country festivals, awards shows and tour kick-offs. Annie also serves as Production Assistant for Amazon Music’s Country Heat Weekly podcast. When she’s not writing or editing, Annie can be found at a writers' round or a concert around town. She’s an avid hiker and is always dreaming of her next beach trip. A New Jersey native, Annie is constantly on the hunt for good pizza and bagels in Nashville. Send your recommendations her way!
