Uh oh. Not unlike MIA and Diplo, soul singer Amy Winehouse and producer Mick Ronson have engaged in a public tiff over who really deserves credit for shaping Winehouse’s Grammy-grabbing album Back To Black,  which Ronson produced. For the record — Winehouse has the sole writing credit on seven of the album’s eleven tracks; the title track was co-written with Ronson, and Winehouse shares a credit on the remaining three.

Ronson, who’s promoting his debut album Version, said recently during an appearance on Jools Holland: “Winehouse would come to me with just a song and an acoustic guitar, and then kind of you dream up the rhythm arrangement and track around it and you help arrange all sorts of things.”

This pissed off Winehouse, who fired off the following tweet: “Ronson you’re dead to me; one album I write an you take half the credit – make a career out of it? Don’t think so BRUV.”

Ronson then clarified his comments in an interview with the BBC: “I’ve always been really candid about saying that Amy is the reason I am on the map. If it wasn’t for the success of Back To Black, no one would have cared too much about [my album] Version.”

Fair play. Winehouse’s next tweet on the subject?

“Ronson I love you; that make it better? you knoww I love you- it’s a jew thingz x whup rza.” What the what?
