The Americana Music Association hosted their annual Honors & Awards Nomination Ceremony in Nashville earlier today. Presented live from the Ford Theater of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, the ceremony revealed just who would be in the running for the association’s coveted awards, to be presented on September 16 during the Americana Music Festival. The event also featured performances from John Hiatt, Nikki Lane, Bela Fleck and Abigail Washburn, as well as hosts The Milk Carton Kids.
