Country upstart Taylor Swift remains queen of the Billboard 200 this week; her self-titled album spent its 10th non-consecutive week at Number 1.
Chart newcomers M. Ward and Morrissey had no real chance of dethroning her, coming in at #31 (Hold Time) and #11 (Year of Refusal), respectively. Ward’s chart performance was his best yet – his last album, Post-War, debuted at a lowly #146. She and Him, his people-pleasing collaboration with Zooey Deschanel, only made it as far as #71.
Annie Lennox is back in the game — her CD/DVD The Annie Lennox Collection reached #34, while the extremely cool Dark Was The Night compilation, a covers album featuring Andrew Bird, Arcade Fire, and Bon Iver, debuted at #49.
But the highest debut came from Charlie Wilson. The former GAP Band singer and Snoop Dogg associate reached the pimped-out position of #2.
