In a compilation on Instagram, the esteemed Game of Thrones actor captured a moment alongside Tongi. The pair seemed to be having a great time at the Moani Waikiki restaurant. Momoa can be seen hugging Tongi while they both posed for a photo, with the singer donning a black T-shirt with the phrase “Live Aloha” imprinted on it.

“Love to my cast and crew and everyone who had a hand in making CHIEF OF WAR. That’s a wrap on Oahu. Mahalo,” Momoa captioned the photo.

The 18-year-old recently reunited with close friend, Oliver Steele, who was also a finalist for Idol, in Kaahuku, Hawaii. The pair were gifted a special set of ukeleles that “represent brotherhood.” Sam Mangakahia, who is a contemporary Māori artist, shared an image of the boys, stating, “These ukuleles represent brotherhood. Each ukulele holds a special meaning to both Iam and Oliver. When speaking with @kanileaukulele about this idea of sharing a message about family, culture and brotherhood through my art and their beautiful ukuleles we decided to go all in!”

He continued, “These ukuleles were built custom from the ground up in Hawaii. From the raw curly Koa wood found in Kona to the very last grain of sand inlaid into the design.”

Despite Oliver’s elimination before reaching the top five in Season 21, the duo maintained a strong bond as close friends. In the extensive three-hour finale held in May, Megan Danielle, 20 and Colin Stough, 18 battled it out for first place. However, it was Tongi who ultimately emerged victorious. He captivated both fans and judges Katy Perry, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan, securing the title of Season 21 winner.
