“Good Enough” tells the story of a guy who is being manipulated into signing his future, and finances, away in order to chase after his dream,” Vans explains. “The pounding kick drum and stabbing, repeating guitar and synth line is meant to punctuate the feelings of anger, frustration, and anxiety that the lyrics express. The entire album is about dealing with different facets of coming to terms with the idea that the world doesn’t owe you anything. It’s danceable, upbeat music juxtaposed against some frequently bleak lyrics that ultimately paints the picture of a character who uses his past experiences to strengthen his resolve.”
