Days after their performance at Glastonbury, Alabama Shakes played at Capitol Records’ Studio A, where Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole and The Beach Boys once recorded (all separately, interesting as that collab would have been).

Since making MTV’s Eleven Artists To Watch In 2012, Alabama Shakes have exploded into the public consciousness, appearing on just about every late night talk show in existence and headlining more than a few music festivals —they’re the top billing at this September’s Boston Calling Music Festival. The video of their latest performance, captured by director-photographer Danny Clinch (Bruce Springsteen, Foo Fighters, Dave Matthews) shows the Shakes in their finest form.
