Acoustic Café and Songcraft Presents teamed up at SXSW this year to put on the Subway Sessions, a loose-limbed musical project where several artists wrote and recorded a song in the studio over the course of a single day at SXSW.
Nashville-based singer-songwriter Tim Easton was one of the participating artists, writing and recording the tune “Love Will Change The Song You Sing.”
“If you’re really writing a tune you’re really exposing some things, or you should be, or else who is going to give a damn,” Easton says in the video, which you can watch above.
Turin Brakes, Blackie & The Rodeo Kings, Matt The Electrician also took part in the sessions, fleshing out new songs with the help of Ben Arthur from SongCraft Presents. Dubway Studios, an outfit out of New York, recorded the audio and video.
