AC/DC has decided to shake North America for sixteen more nights, extending their Black Ice tour through January. The band had already added shows in Chicago, Los Angeles and Oakland due to lightning-fast sellouts of those and 15 other shows. The new dates begin December 20 in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. and wrap up in Nashville on January 31.The tour, which kicks off October 28 in Wilkes-Barre, PA is in support of the band’s new album of the same name, scheduled to drop October 21.

If you’re planning to buy the album, you have only one place to go (well, two actually, three if you count the internet): Wal-Mart. In the United States, Black Ice will available exclusively at Wal-Mart, Sam’s Club and walmart.com. The band and the retailer have made their relationship more serious by bringing video games into the mix. November will see the release of AC/DC LIVE: Rock Band Track Pack, featuring 18 classic songs from the band’s Live at Donnington DVD. Also a Wal-Mart exclusive, it will be the first Rock Band game devoted solely to one band. Wal-Mart aims to be your one-stop AC/DC shop by setting up a special section in each store. In this area you will find not only Black Ice and the Rock Band game, but also previous CDs, DVDs and officially licensed clothing and other merchandise. No word on whether any of that clothing will be a kilt.
