Just last year, Travis Kelce made headlines when he started to date Taylor Swift. With the football star showing his love for Swift, it appears the entire Kelce family took over the internet. Embracing the spotlight, Jason and Travis continue to share their thoughts on football and current events on the New Heights podcast. And recently, Jason opened up about working with the legendary Stevie Nicks on his annual A Philly Special Christmas Party.

Besides spending his NFL career with the Philadelphia Eagles, the Super Bowl champion is considered one of the greatest centers in the sport’s history. But eventually retiring, the football player decided to continue his tradition of hitting the recording studio for his annual holiday album. And bringing in some big names, he still couldn’t process working with Nicks.
Discussing the moment with Travis, Jason insisted, “The legendary Stevie Nicks came on and did a duet with me. Which in itself is, like, pretty crazy to actually be on a track with Stevie Nicks. I mean, absolutely unreal.” He added, “[She’s] probably the most legendary female singer, especially of her generation … [and so] the fact that I’m singing with her this legend, is pretty unreal.”

Jason Kelce Thrilled To Have Worked With Stevie Nicks
While labeling her “one of the nicest people” he ever talked to, Jason pointed to how much she loved the process of making music. “You could tell she loves people, she loves music, she loves the art of making music. [She] brought a breath of fresh air into the recording studio.”
Although Jason worked with other stars over the years, he explained how he actually got to spend time in the recording studio with Nicks. “We were able to actually get in the studio at the same time, which is really hard. We’re adding a lot of the big-time artists who … a lot of times they come on but they can’t come into the studio because they’re busy.”
Knowing how rare the moment was to spend with Nicks, Jason concluded, “We were able to get Stevie in the studio, actually sing together, which I’ll be able to cherish that memory for the rest of my lifetime.”
